Customizing Your Store

Next comes the fun part! You get to customize your own store. That’s right. You get to make it any colors you want. In order to get started follow these steps:

Go into your PECash account (http://pecash.com/).
Click “Customize Store”
Click Customize your Super Store. Yes, you can customize all of those other stores separately. You can even market them separately. However, for now, we are going to concentrate on the store with the most items, your superstore. Once you get a hang of one store, you can go back & work on the others.
Under “Select your background and font colors”; you will see a wheel of colors, along with a representation of your website next to the wheel.
In order to change the colors on your website go to the line you are interested in changing, such as “primary background”. At the end of the line, you will see a colored box. Click that box.
Next, go to the wheel & click a color you may be interested in using. As you can see, the representation of your website automatically changes, based on what color you choose. Complete the other color choices. As you can imagine, you can do this forever! The best part is if you do not like the colors, you can change them, as long as you have that account. In addition, the colors, or any changes to this page, are not saved, until you click the “Submit” button at the very bottom of the page.
Go to “Customize your Store Name Logo Image and Home Page Welcome Text”. Under “Customize Your Store Title” add the name of your store. For search engine purposes, you will want to add words such as “sex” & “store”, such as Jessie’s Super Sex Store. If you leave it blank, the program will default it to something generic & what everyone else who was too lazy to come up with their own name has.
Click “Submit” at the bottom of the page.
Under “Upload a Store Logo” you will want to upload the logo of your store. It can be a maximum of max width of 505 px. This is simply a pictured representation of your store that will be placed at the top of your store, such as http://www.pecash.com/logos/13031.jpg. You can find out where the placement of this logo is by going here: http://store.sex-superstore.com/cgi-bin/home.cgi?13031. I know it’s a great banner, but don’t be stupid enough to use it on your store.

How do you create such a great banner? You can do it a two different ways. You can do it yourself, by going to any of these online web programs: http://www.google.com/#hl=en&q=online+banner+maker&aq=0&oq=online+banner+&aqi=g10&fp=kE0CVI1PqvM.

You can also pay someone, as I did, to create a unique banner for you. If you do decide to go this route, you may want to consider emailing Sam at getbanner@live.com. Be sure to tell him Lizzy sent you. It will make the process easier, because he will know exactly why you contacted him. I have given him the details of the request & he is charging $40.00 for 2 banners. We have only talked about one banner. However, in the end, you will need two. Be patient, we will get to the use of the second one, when we start chatting about internet marketing.

I have also sent him all the details, such as the reason you would be contacting him. He will ask you several questions, so be prepared. He will ask:

* What kind of webstore is it: Super Store, Hetero Store, AllMale/Bisexual Store, Fetish/Bondage Store, Black/Interracial Store, Transsexual/Bisexual Store, SexToys Only Store, Mini Store? I have sent him images that will help create the banners, based upon the store you are working with.

* What is the link to your store? You can get that by going to “HTML Code” on your navigation bar. Then, cut & paste your store link into the email to Sam.

* What are the main colors to your store? He will need this information to match the banners to the store you created. You can get the color codes by returning to the “Customize Store” link on your navigation bar, cutting & pasting the color codes under the “Select your background and font colors” bar.

* What is the name of your store? He may use the name of your store in the banner.

Keep the next two blanks, “Link your logo to this URL” & “Enter your homepage welcome text” empty for another day.
Leave everything else on the page untouched, including everything from the “Select and Link your homepage image” bar & lower blank.
Now click “Submit” at the bottom of the page.

Check Your Profile Information

When most people get their PECash website they make the mistake of doing nothing more. That is a HUGE mistake. There is lots of money out there, but it will not be handed to you, unless you work for it. I have been very successful with this program & I want you to be successful too. You just need to work at it. The following steps will get you off to a GREAT start.

Log into your PECash account. You should have gotten a confirmation email giving you the details.
Click “YOUR PROFILE” on the navigation bar to the left.
Make sure all the information on the page is correct, including the “Minimum Payout”, which should be $20.00. That means once you are owed $20.00 or more in a given month, you are snail mailed a check.
Leave the information under “Your Store's Settings” blank for a bit. We will return to it, when we start to discuss internet marketing.

PECash is a very successful affiliate program, based on selling adult toys. The reason it’s so successful is because not only do you get a few codes & banners, you also get your own webstore!

1. Go to http://www.pecash.com/index.html?13031

2. Read all of the details

3. Under COMMISSION ON YOUR WEBMASTER REFERRALS, click SIGN UP NOW. PE Cash is a very reputable company & you should have no problems when giving them your personal information, including social security number.

4. Under “Choose Your Commission and Pricing Plan For This Account“, I recommend you click 35% of sale - Manufacturer Suggested Prices * Unlimited multi-level referral commission. This will allow you to charge the most for your products, while getting a referral fee on anyone who signs up under you forever, even if they are 5 levels below you.

5. You do not need to fill in all the other information requested, such as Choose a Title For This Store, Upload a Logo For This Store, or Enter Your Site URL. We will work with those later.

6. Click off TERMS AND CONDITIONS and ACCEPTABLE USE AGREEMENT.

7. Click “SUBMIT”

That’s it! Now go & check your email. You will see a confirmation email from PECash, letting you know you have your own webstore!
